Deep Bay

Deep Bay (49˚28'00" 124˚44'00" S end of Baynes Sd, NW of Bowser on E side of Vancouver I). There are many features in BC named Deep Bay. This one was a First Nation fishing site for thousands of years, then home to a Canadian Robert Dollar Co logging camp, 1917–31, and a fish-processing plant, 1917–51. In the early 2000s a small resort community flourished there. Formerly known as Lymn Bay.
