Denham Islet


Denham Islet (50˚26'00" 125˚15'00" Off N end of Sonora I, Cordero Channel, N of Campbell R), Denham Rock (50˚26'00" 125˚14'00" Off NE side of Sonora I). Adm Sir Henry Mangles Denham (1800–87) was a prominent RN hydrographer. He assisted with surveys of the French coast (1827), Bristol Channel (1828–35) and Ireland (1842).
