Denise Inlet


Denise Inlet (54˚17'00" 130˚10'00" Just E of Prince Rupert). Denise Victoria Harris (1896–1948) of Victoria was a granddaughter of Sir James Douglas, BC colonial gov, and Lady Amelia Douglas. Her father was engineer and land surveyor Dennis Harris, who married Martha Douglas, youngest daughter of James and Amelia, at Victoria in 1878. Denise married Cdr John Eric Woodhouse Oland, DSC (1895–1948), at Victoria in 1919; he was a career RCN officer, born in NS, who served as CO of HMCS Captor...
