Devlin Bay


Devlin Bay (53˚04'00" 129˚35'00" Between Trutch I and Prior I, facing Estevan Sd, SE of Banks I). Robert Beatty Devlin (1841–1925) was born at Toronto and moved to BC about 1862. He married Isabel Barlow at Victoria in 1888. A farmer and a miner, he took part in the 1924 old-timers’ reunion held at Victoria (see Adams Bay). Named in 1926, as suggested by regional hydrographer Henri Parizeau.
