Dickens Point


Dickens Point (55˚09'00" 130˚07'00" S of Stopford Point, SE side of Portland Canal, NW of Nass Bay). Sub-Lt Sydney Smith Haldimand Dickens (1847–72) served on the BC coast, 1868–70, aboard HMS Zealous, flagship of Rear Adm George Hastings, Pacific Station cdr-in-chief.
