Drift Whale Bay


Drift Whale Bay (50˚12'27" 127˚47'52" W side of Brooks Peninsula, W side of Vancouver I). This translation of a local Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation name was provided by linguist R Levine of the BC Provincial Museum and submitted by members of the museum’s 1981 Brooks Peninsula expedition. It was adopted in 1985.
