Dusky Cove


Dusky Cove (50˚41'35" 126˚39'44" W side of Bonwick I, E end of Queen Charlotte Str). Named in 1865 by the officers of the Beaver because the cove was reached at twilight on a summer evening. The venerable paddle steamer was hired from the HBC by the RN for coastal survey work, 1863–70.
