Indian Reef


Indian Reef (48˚53'00" 123˚38'00" N of Osborn Bay and Crofton, W side of Stuart Channel, SE side of Vancouver I). Probably named in association with the nearby Chemainus reserves on Willy I and at the mouth of the Chemainus R. The Chemainus First Nation, Cowichan First Nation and four other nations are part of the Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group, founded in 1993.
