Loquillilla Cove

Loquillilla Cove (50˚52'00" 127˚45'00" S side of Nigei I, Goletas Channel, off N end of Vancouver I). A long-abandoned Nahwitti First Nation village was once located on this cove. According to BC historians Helen and Philip Akrigg, the name is a Kwakwala word that may mean “to fish for halibut.”
