Rattenbury Island


Rattenbury Island (51˚41'48" 128˚04'50" Off W side of Hecate I, S side of Hakai Pass, S of Bella Bella). The name was adopted by the hydrographic service in 1945 to commemorate architect Francis Mawson Rattenbury (1867–1935). He was born at Leeds and trained in England, immigrating to BC in 1892.
