Rebecca Point


Rebecca Point (52˚23'00" 131˚17'00" E side of Burnaby I, off SE Moresby I, QCI), Rebecca Spit (50˚06'00" 125˚11'00" SE side of Quadra I, E of Drew Hbr, NW end of Str of Georgia). The 32-tonne Rebecca was the vessel that first brought mining engineer Francis Poole to the QCI’s Skincuttle Inlet area in 1862 in search of copper.
