Recovery Point

Recovery Point (52˚59'00" 132˚10'00" W entrance to Mudge Inlet, Kuper Inlet, NW side of Moresby I, QCI). In 1852 the HBC brig Recovery was sent to nearby Mitchell Inlet, where gold had recently been discovered. The previous year the Una, under Capt Willie Mitchell, had made two voyages to the discovery site.
