Redfern Point


Redfern Point (53˚04'00" 129˚11'00" E side of Casanave Passage, Campania Sd, W side of Princess Royal I). Charles Edward Redfern (1839–1929), from London, England, immigrated to Victoria in 1862 aboard the Tynemouth and set up as a jeweller and watchmaker. He married Eliza Arden Robinson (1852–1906), also from England, at Victoria in 1877 and raised a large family.
