Redford Point


Redford Point (52˚05'00" 128˚14'00" W side of Campbell I, opposite Piddington I, SW of Bella Bella). Lt Cdr W Redford worked for the federal fisheries patrol service on the BC coast. He was a member of the RCNR for many years, joining in 1923. In 1939–40 he served as capt of the Malaspina, a former fisheries and Dept of Transport ship that was reactivated during WWII as a patrol and training vessel.
