Redonda Bay

Redonda Bay (50˚15'00" 124˚57'00" NW side of W Redonda I), Redonda Islands (50˚13'00" 124˚50'00" NE of Cortes I, entrance to Toba Inlet, NE of Campbell R). Thinking that E Redonda and W Redonda islands were one large circular feature, Spanish navigators Dionisio Alcalá-Galiano and Cayetano Valdés named them Isla Redonda in 1792, after their shape (redondo or redonda means “round” in Spanish).
