Ridley Island


Ridley Island (54˚13'00" 130˚19'00" S of Kaien I, just S of Prince Rupert). William Ridley (1836–1911) became the first bishop of the Anglican diocese of Caledonia, formed when the original diocese of BC was divided in three in 1879. He was born in England and worked as a carpenter before training as a missionary.
