Riley Cove


Riley Cove (49˚24'00" 126˚13'00" NW end of Flores I, NW of Tofino, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Riley Cove, which appears as Rileys Cove on some early maps, is supposedly named after Clayoquot pioneer and former RN seaman Reece Riley (1847–1918), who arrived in the district in 1898, did some prospecting, and established a boat-repair facility and marine ways in the area.
