Rippon Point


Rippon Point (53˚55'00" 130˚12'00" N end of Pitt I, S of Prince Rupert). Capt Thomas Rippon (1883–1939), a native of Nottingham, UK, joined the CPR’s BC Coast Steamship Service as a seaman in 1905 and was soon appointed an officer. His first command, in 1916, was the Princess Beatrice.
