Rithet Island (52˚13'00" 128˚08'00" Off NE side of Campbell I, just N of Bella Bella). Robert Paterson Rithet (1844–1919) came to BC in 1862 to join the gold rush. Two years later he settled at Victoria, where he would transform himself into one of the province’s wealthiest merchants. He was born in Scotland and trained as a clerk at Liverpool.
