Robert Island


Robert Island (51˚59'00" 128˚15'00" S end of the Prince Group, off SW side of Campbell I, SW of Bella Bella). The Prince Robert was one of three luxurious CNR passenger ships built in the UK for use on the BC coast. They went into service in 1930 but soon proved too expensive to operate and too unwieldy in BC’s intricate waterways.
