Roberts Bank


Roberts Bank (49˚03'42" 123˚10'39" E side of Str of Georgia, between mouth of the Fraser R’s S Arm and Tsawwassen). This feature, which first appeared on an Admiralty chart in 1853, was sketched by Aemilius Simpson aboard the HBC schooner Cadboro in 1827. It was named in association with Point Roberts, S of Tsawwassen, which lies in US territory and is thus not a BC geographical feature.
