Rodd Point


Rodd Point (48˚26'00" 123˚27'00" W side of Esquimalt Hbr near entrance, just W of Victoria). John Rashleigh Rodd (1816–92) was 1st lt of HMS Fisgard, under Capt John Duntze, and served on the Pacific Station in 1843–47, during which time the Fisgard was one of the first RN vessels to anchor in Esquimalt Hbr.
