Rondeault Point


Rondeault Point (49˚26'52" 126˚25'56" E side of Hesquiat Hbr, between Nootka Sd and Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Named by regional hydrographer Henri Parizeau in 1934 after Rev Pierre Rondeault (1824–1900), a Roman Catholic missionary from Que who was ordained at Montreal in 1857 and came to Victoria the following year.
