Ruxton Island


Ruxton Island (49˚05'00" 123˚42'00" Part of the De Courcy Group, W of Valdes I, Gulf Is), Ruxton Passage (49˚05'00" 123˚43'00" Between Ruxton I and De Courcy I). Lt William Fitzherbert Ruxton (1830–95) served on the Pacific Station, 1859–61, aboard HMS Pylades, under Capt Michael de Courcy.
