BERGER, Thomas Rodney "Tom," lawyer, jurist (b 23 Mar 1933, Victoria; d Vancouver 28 April 2021). After graduating from UBC law school, he practised law in VANCOUVER from 1957 to 1971. One of his notable cases was representing the NISGA'A in the landmark CALDER CASE. Active in the NDP, he served a term as MP for Vancouver–Burrard in 1962–63, then won election as an MLA in 1966.
