GIBSON, James Gordon, logger, politician (b 28 Nov 1904, Goldbottom Creek, YT; d 18 July 1986, Vancouver). Born in a log cabin in the Klondike, he was raised in VANCOUVER. After dropping out of school at age 13, he went LOGGING with his father, William F. Gibson, on the west coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND.
