Pennask Lake


PENNASK LAKE, 9.55 sq km, lies in the high country between MERRITT and KELOWNA, about 80 km southwest of KAMLOOPS near the DOUGLAS LAKE RANCH. Famed for its TROUT FISHING, it is believed to have the largest run of wild rainbow trout in the world, a resource that was exploited by a number of Aboriginal communities prior to contact.
