United Farmers of BC


UNITED FARMERS OF BC (UFBC) was an organization formed in Feb 1917 to work for agricultural improvements. Members consistently opposed direct political involvement, and the UFBC never forged the alliance with labour that enabled United Farmers parties to form governments elsewhere in Canada. In 1923 the organization was drawn into politics in support of the short-lived PROVINCIAL PARTY.
