Horn-headed worms

Little is known about the horn-headed worms (Family Scalibregmatidae) because they usually dwell at considerable depth and therefore are infrequently collected. Using the soft, eversible (can be turned inside out) proboscis, these sub-surface deposit feeders ingest fine particles.
