Many public, college, and university libraries across BC have licensed access to KnowBC on your behalf.

BC Students and Teachers

The BC Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC) has licensed access to KnowBC for its member schools and school districts.

Public Library Users in BC

Licensing Agreements

Single School Site Licences

KnowBC is available to BC's K-12 schools as part of a product bundle coordinated by ERAC. If your school is not an ERAC member, you can purchase a single site license for your school. The cost of a single school site license is based on school size:

  • Less than 100 students: $21.43 per school
  • 101-500 students: $91.43 per school
  • 501-1,000 students: $161.43 per school
  • More than 1,000 students: $231.43 per school

The terms of the licence allow all students and staff of an individual school to access KnowBC.com both at school and from home. Contact us to find out more.

Post-Secondary Institution Site Licences

KnowBC.com is available to BC's post-secondary institution libraries via site licence either singly (contact knowbc@harbourpublishing.com) or by group subscription through the BC Electronic Library Network. The terms of the licence allow all students, faculty and staff of an individual post-secondary institution to access KnowBC.com, both from campus and from home.
