McCONNELL, William C. "Bill," lawyer, writer, editor (b 12 Feb 1917, Vancouver; d 6 Dec 2001, Vancouver). After serving in the Canadian Army during WWII he was among the first graduates from UBC's law school and was called to the bar in 1949. In addition to a busy law practice, he published many short stories in the major literary MAGAZINES from the 1940s to the 1970s.
