ANDERSON, Pamela, actress, model (b 1 July 1967, Ladysmith). At the end of the 20th century she could claim to be the most widely recognized Canadian in the world. Raised in LADYSMITH, she became an immediate sensation when a Jumbotron camera focussed on her at a 1989 BC LIONS football game.
