ANVIL PRESS, a VANCOUVER publisher, was founded in 1988 by Brian Kaufman and Dennis Bolen to publish the literary magazine sub-TERRAIN. In 1991 the company began publishing books and between 1992 and 2003 ran the THREE-DAY NOVEL WRITING CONTEST. Anvil is interested in discovering and publishing new literary talent.
