BC Junior Hockey League


BC JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE, BC's junior A HOCKEY league, is an important developmental stage for many of western Canada's best hockey players and the most popular sports draw in many communities. The league began in 1961 as the Okanagan Junior A League with teams in KELOWNA, VERNON, KAMLOOPS and PENTICTON. It became the BCJHL with the addition of NEW WESTMINSTER and VICTORIA in 1967.
