Baden-Powell Trail


BADEN-POWELL TRAIL is a 48-km hiking TRAIL meandering across the lower slopes of the North Shore mountains opposite VANCOUVER, from HORSESHOE BAY to DEEP COVE. It was built in 1971 by Boy Scout and Girl Guide troops and is named for Lord Baden-Powell, the British founder of the Boy Scouts. It is easily accessible at a number of points along its length.
