Barnett, Cunliffe

BARNETT, Cunliffe, lawyer, judge (b 1936, Vancouver). A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in geophysics and business administration, he worked briefly in the OIL AND GAS and FOREST INDUSTRIES before returning to school to study law. After graduating from UBC law school in 1966 he practised in PRINCE RUPERT and VANCOUVER; in 1973 he became a provincial court judge in WILLIAMS LAKE.
