BAYONNE () was a MINING camp on the CPR line, 32 km northwest of CRESTON on the west side of KOOTENAY LK. This stretch of rail between PROCTER and Kootenay Landing at the south end of the lake was not built until 1930 because of the difficulty and cost of construction.
