Beautiful BC

BEAUTIFUL BC was a glossy BC scenic and travel magazine based in VICTORIA. Founded in 1959 as a publication of the provincial government, it was purchased in 1983 by Great Pacific Industries, one of the companies owned by Jim PATTISON. In 2001 the magazine was acquired by Tourism BC and relaunched the next year as British Columbia Magazine. In 2014, with its purchase by My Passion Media, the magazine was privatized once again.
