BEDAUX SUB-ARCTIC (CITROEN) EXPEDITION was an attempt by the French-American adventurer Charles Bedaux to cross northern BC by motor vehicle. Bedaux (1886–1944), who had made his fortune as an industrial efficiency expert, led the first motor vehicle crossing of the Sahara in 1930 using Citroen half-tracks, the same vehicle he intended to drive across BC.
