BELL, Alistair Macready, artist (b 21 Oct 1913, Darlington, England; d 12 Oct 1997, Vancouver). He immigrated to VANCOUVER in 1929 and later studied at the Vancouver School of Art (see EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN), where he developed his talent as a printmaker.
