BENNETT, William Richards "Bill," businessman, politician, premier 22 Dec 1975–6 Aug 1986 (b 14 Apr 1932, Kelowna; d there 3 Dec 2015). The son of longtime premier W.A.C. BENNETT, he went into business directly after high school and made a substantial fortune in real estate and other investments.
