Berger, Mitch

BERGER, Mitch, football player (b 24 June 1972, Kamloops). Raised in N DELTA, he was drafted as a punter and kickoff man out of the Univ of Colorado by the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in 1994. After being cut from the team, he tried out for the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts before earning a starting position with the Minnesota Vikings in 1996.
