BIBB, Leon, singer, entertainer (b 7 Feb 1922, Louisville, KY; d 23 Oct 2015, Vancouver). He worked on Broadway and as a folksinger in New York for 20 years, appearing in 3 films with his friend Sidney Poitier and making several appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. He performed with Paul Robeson, another friend, at Carnegie Hall and recorded several albums.
