BLAIR, John, landscaper (b 8 Aug 1820, Callander, Scotland; d 28 May 1906, near Duncan). Trained as a landscape gardener in his native Scotland, he immigrated to Ontario in 1851, then moved to Chicago, where he became superintendent of parks in the 1860s.
