BLASER, Robin, writer, teacher (b 18 May 1925, Denver, CO; d. 7 May 2009, Vancouver). He has been an influential critic, editor and poet since arriving in VANCOUVER in 1966 to teach in the English department at SFU. Before coming to Canada he was part of the literary movement known as the Berkeley Renaissance and his writing remained centred in his US experience.
