BLESSING'S GRAVE, BC's smallest provincial historic site, is on the road to BARKERVILLE 44 km east of QUESNEL. Charles Morgan Blessing was an Ohioan who came to the CARIBOO in the 1860s during the GOLD RUSH. On 31 May 1866 he was murdered by another prospector, James Barry, who stole his gold tiepin and a large amount of cash.
