Bouchie Lake

BOUCHIE LAKE  () is a ranching settlement (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) in the north CARIBOO, 8 km northwest of QUESNEL on Bouchie Crk. It was named after Billy Boucher, son of one of Simon FRASER's boatmen on his journey through BC. Boucher operated an early ferry across the FRASER R near here.
