BREEZE, Claude, artist (b 9 Oct 1938, Nelson). He was raised in Saskatoon and studied painting with Ernest Lindner before graduating from the U of Saskatchewan in 1958. After a year at the Vancouver School of Art (see EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN), he moved to the West Coast permanently. His first solo exhibition was at the New Design Gallery in 1965.
