BROWN, Harry, aviator (dates not available). He was a bank clerk in VICTORIA when WWI began. He enlisted in the infantry and saw action at the front. Later he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, where he served as a fighter pilot; he was awarded the Military Cross for shooting down several enemy planes.
