CAMPBELL, Robert, fur trader (b 21 Feb 1808, Glenlyon, Scotland; d 9 May 1894, MB). He was one of the most resourceful overland travellers of the FUR TRADE era. After joining the HBC in 1831 he was assigned to a company sheep farm at the Red River Settlement.
